The Center was created for assistance to industrial enterprises of Kaluga region in training of qualified specialists and in the practical introduction of innovative laser technologies for processing of different materials. Kaluga LITC has a wide park of laser equipment from famous German producers that allow developing and implementing 3D technologies of laser cutting and welding for metallic and nonmetallic materials (steels, alloys, plastics, rubbers, glass, composites and ceramic, plywood, films etc).
Using the installation of the Company ARNOLD based on СО2-laser ROFIN-SINAR and two working heads for cutting and welding we carry out the processing of 3D articles from carbon and stainless steels, alloys of aluminum, titanium, cupper and other metals.
For 3D cutting and welding of nonmetal materials we use the installations of JENOPTIK Company equipped by robots-manipulators - VOTAN C-BIM and VOTAN W. This processing widely used in auto components and device productions, is very actual for Kaluga enterprises up to quick development of automobile industry and device making in the region.
LITC regularly organizes one-week training courses in “Laser Safeness” and “Laser technologies for Engineering” oriented on engineers and technical staff of regional enterprises. For acquaintance with laser installations work and Center’s services and possibilities we also carry out the “Days of Opened Doors”, presentation and one-day seminars.
